Employees Proud to Support Their Community

Jones Packaging’s Employees Association, better known as ECCO, presented their 2009 donations to two local charities each in London and Guelph.

In London, accepting on behalf of the Canadian Cancer Society was Krista Kankula, who visited the Page Street facility to receive a cheque in the amount of $9,623.38. Executive Director of the London Humane Society, Judy Foster received a $7,774.84 donation.

Similar presentations were conducted by Guelph Employee Association Members. Representatives of the Heart & Stroke Foundation, Gina Sweet and Mary Lou Karney were on-site at Jones’ Guelph folding carton location to receive a donation totaling $2,567.81. The Make-a-Wish Foundation was the number one charity as voted by Guelph employees, and accepting a donation in the amount of $3,907.54 was Make-a-Wish volunteer, Leslie Hepditch.
