Jones launches video to promote medication adherence awareness
Jones is proud to join the Canadian Patient Safety Institute (CPSI) and many other healthcare organizations across the country to advocate safe patient care during Canadian Patient Safety Week (CPSW).
This year, CPSW takes place from October 29 to November 2 with a focus on medication safety and a goal of reducing medication errors. The “Not All Meds Get Along” campaign encourages open dialogue between patients and healthcare professionals, including reviewing medications regularly and asking key questions about prescriptions.
Taking the right medications at the right time is critical for medication safety and can have a significant impact on health outcomes, as shown in our Spotlight on Medication Adherence white paper. Improving patient and medication safety is at the heart of everything we do at Jones – and in the spirit of creating awareness during this important week, we are pleased to launch a new video that explains some of the challenges of managing multiple medications and the adherence packaging solutions available to help.
